WOODBRIDGE, N.J. - As she left the abortion mill on Main Street with her mother, one young woman told Bill Draghi, “I DIDN’T DO IT.” She had changed her mind, and gratefully accepted literature on local crisis pregnancy clinics from Draghi, who prays the Rosary every day that the clinic is open for business. He counts his prayers on a string of beads that each cradle the image of a tiny, unborn baby and carries a silver crucifix to remind everyone in the clinic’s vicinity of God’s great love for us.
This latest change of heart happened during the first few weeks of the Spring 40 Days for Life Campaign, going on now through March 28. With prayers, fasting, vigils, and community outreach, the peaceful, worldwide campaign aims to turn hearts and minds away from the evil of abortion and toward choosing life.
